Terms & Conditions

All customers must be 18 years of age or older. By placing an order you confirm that you are over 18 and, if you are the event organiser, you confirm that all attendees are 18 years of age or older.

General Tasting Events

Your booking is not secured until payment is received – all events must be paid for in advance.

Cancellations received more than 4 weeks prior to event date – you can choose to receive a full refund, send a substitute, transfer to another event, or receive a credit against any of our future public events within 12 months of the original date.

Cancellations received within 4 weeks and no more than 10 working days prior to event date – you can choose to send a substitute, transfer to another event, or receive a credit against any of our future public events within 12 months of the original date. No refunds will be provided.

Cancellations received between 10 working days prior and up to the day before the event – you can choose to send a substitute. No refunds, credits or transfers will be provided.

In the event of ‘no-shows’ or ‘on the day’ cancellations – no refunds, credits, or transfers will be provided.

In extreme circumstances, we reserve the right to cancel or reschedule any course or event and we will refund payment in full if no alternative event is acceptable.

We reserve the right to change the venue of any course or event to one of equal or superior quality (and within the same vicinity).

We reserve the right to ask any person to leave any event if their behaviour is deemed unacceptable or disruptive to others.

We do not serve alcohol to guests under the age of 18.

Gift Vouchers

Gift vouchers are non-refundable and are for single use only.

Gift Vouchers are valid for 1 Year from date of issue.

We will verify the voucher code(s) supplied via our online booking system.

We do not offer nor accept Vouchers from any third party suppliers or site.

Corporate & Private Events

For Corporate and Private events, the fee will be based on the number of attendees, which must be stated at the time of booking, and the type of event. In return we will provide and present the wines, supply table biscuits and water and the loan of wine glasses and spittoons for the event.

Unless otherwise agreed, the event fee is exclusive of any costs to hire a venue and/or to provide canapés or other food items.

A non-refundable deposit of 25% is payable on booking to hold the date and the remaining balance must be paid 10 working days prior to the event.

Any variations to the number of attendees must be notified to us as soon as possible and no later than 10 working days before the event. In such an instance we will agree a revised fee with you and issue an updated invoice.

Invoicing will be based on these numbers as a minimum and the cost of any additional guests attending will be detailed on a final invoice if applicable.

The deposit will be retained if the event is cancelled but may be used against another booking within 6 months of the original date (subject to availability).

The entire fee is non-refundable if the event is cancelled by you within 10 working days of the date of the event.

All attendees must be over the 18 – we will not serve alcohol to guests under the age of 18.

We reserve the right to end an event without refund, and ask you to remove an attendee if behaviour is deemed unacceptable or disruptive to others.

Where a Temporary Event Notice is required under the terms of the Licensing Act 2003 we will, if required, assist you in obtaining the licence and with the notification.

Liability

Three Chords & The Vine Ltd has an Insurance policy in place which covers liability for injury and Third Party Property damage arising from a loss or damage, where it can be proved we have been negligent. No liability is accepted for failure of performance due to strike, lockout, hostilities or any other circumstances outside the Company’s control.

If you cause any breakages, loss or damage to our equipment during the event the full replacement cost will be charged to you.

If you cause any damage to the venue your details will be passed on the venue management for recovery of costs.

These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights.
